Beehive are due to spread the vibe world-wide, with their self produced debut album, "Brand New Day".

Beehive are a five piece band with their own unique, self-styled blend of JazzFunk, Nu Soul and R'n'B, beehive are well respected on London's live gig circuit, having secured regular engagements at some of the most popular venues in the capital. Why not check out our tour dates?

Their appeal, however, extends far beyond London. Fronted by the inimitable Kaz Lewis (described by the English press as a "Soul Diva"). Beehive have toured extensively across the UK, clocking up well over 200 gigs in the past 18 months. Appearing at live music venues, colleges, universities and festivals, in towns across the UK and Europe, beehive continue to make impact everywhere they go. (See tour dates)

The debut album was recorded at the band's own studio in London and mixed at Livingston Studios, which has been home to the likes of Kula Skaher, Incognito, Mark Morrison and Bjork.

A private launch party was held at the Jazz Cafe, Camden, on Thursday 13th March, where the band performed to an enthusiastic audience of over 300 and signed copies of the album.

Beehive performed live on Thursday 1st May 1997 at an International Music Industry Showcase at The Rhythmic, Islington, as part of London Music Week '97, where the band hope to attract interest from major record companies and distributors.

In October 1995, Beehive released their debut single in the UK, entitled "Presence of Your Love". The single attracted air play on a number of radio stations and led to live interviews and broadcasts with the BBC, resulting in the live recording of "Fool's Wisdom".

The popularity of the single secured the band their first European tour in April 1996. At the conclusion of this tour, Beehive were back in the studio, recording the French version of the single, entitled "Presence De Ton Amour", making this band a truly International act.
