Booking FAQ


Please browse our pages for pictures, set lists and information on a selection of our bands. You can even listen to the audio tracks of some of the bands on our website

Once you’ve narrowed your choices down a little, just Contact Us by email or phone to discuss your band or DJ choices. If you can tell us the date and location of your event, we will then check to see if the act is available for you, and if they are, we will then discuss your needs in finer detail. If your first choice is not available we'll do all we can to find you a suitable alternative within your budget.

Booking Agreement
Once we've checked availability and costs, we will ask the act to hold the date subject to contract and receipt of a booking deposit. We then send you a simple one-page agreement which has been signed by us on behalf of the artist, band or DJ, which you then need to sign and return to us. This agreement is written in simple terms but if you're not sure about any aspect of it or need to clarify anything please do not hesitate to contact us any time. Once signed, this agreement is a binding contract, so please make sure you understand every part of it.

Booking Payments
With the return of your signed contract, we require you to also include a 20% booking deposit, which secures the booking of your chosen act for your event. The remaining 80% balance is to be forwarded to our account within 14 days prior to your event. This fee will only be paid to the act after we know that the artist has fulfilled completely their obligations and agreements for your event to a satisfactory standard. If you wish to discuss alternative payment terms feel free to call us to discuss these.

As Your Event Approaches
As your event approaches we will contact you to fine-tune last minute details to make sure everything runs smoothly on the day. By this time we will have reviewed your requirements and confirmed arrangements with the act anyway, but checking last minute details can make all the difference between a good event and a great one and ensures you can relax a little on the day and enjoy a well-planned, seamless event. Cancellations
Once you have signed the agreement and paid your deposit, you will be liable for the full fee agreed at the time of booking. However, if we are given enough notice of your cancellation, we will endeavour to find the act a suitable replacement booking for your cancelled event and if succesful, it's possible we may be able to offer you a partial refund but the deposit is always non-refundable. If notice is not sufficient, appropriate replacement work for the act will be difficult to find on short notice and alternative events would likely have been refused by the act in dedication to your event. In such circumstances a refund will not be possible and the full fee agreed will need to be paid.

Pricing Policy
We believe you get what you pay for, so if you want the best we'll do everything we can to work within your budget, ensuring you get the best possible value for money. If we feel your budget is not realistic we'll discuss this with you and make alternative suggestions. Any prices stated are for guidance only, as a number of things can possibly affect the price, such as set-up time and location. This will all be discussed with you when you first enquire with us. Quotes for bands are normally based upon the performance of 2 x 45 minutes sets between 7pm and midnight. DJs tend to play between 7pm and midnight or 7pm and 1am but all timings are flexible.

Travel Expenses
If the band or DJ you like most has to travel quite a distance to your event, this may cost a little extra. Of course, we consult the act on this first, and then inform you of their costs, if any.

Set-up and Performance Times
Most functions, where an evening performance is required, usually require the act to set up between the hours of 6 and 7pm and for the performance to generally finish before midnight. Of course you may wish to vary these times, depending on the specific requirements for your event, and we are more than happy to discuss all possible options with you. However, you should be aware that an early set-up time or a late finish may occasionally incur an additional charge, especially if you decide to make significant changes after issue of a contract or after commencement of the event.
