Unplugged and Intimate is one of the country's most exciting clubs for new acoustic artists and singer-songwriters, drawing on talent from across the country and featuring up to ten artists a night.

U&I is NOT an Open Mic night. You need to email me to book a slot in advance but there are no auditions and I don't need to hear anything first. All genres are welcome.

You just need to perform original material which has been written & composed by or for you. There are up to 10 acts each week playing 2 or 3 songs each.

If you've only ever written one song, you're still welcome. U&I exists to encourage and promote original songwriting and we often invite publishers and managers down to U&I.

The Cellar Bar has been home to U&I for close to 4 years now and has seen over 300 unique acts perform during this period.
